Are you taking advantage of your best marketing channel?
Well, guess that’s a big nope.
And yet email marketing remains the main revenue factor for ecommerce businesses and is by far the highest-return marketing channel for your Shopify store. Period.
For every $1 spent, email marketing generates $44 in ROI”
—Campaign Monitor, “The New Rules of Email Marketing”
Unlike other marketing channels, it’s a long-term, stable tool that uses a targeted list to directly contact your existing customers, which means you’re getting much, much better bang for your buck.
Now, chances are you’ve got the basic cart abandonment email from Shopify. You’re probably sending a few newsletters to your customers, too. But you know deep down that you’re only doing the bare minimum. Or worse, you’re not doing it at all.
In a nutshell…
Your email marketing just isn’t cutting it
Basically, you’re not taking full advantage of everything email marketing has to offer. So, what do you do? Constantly hammer your customers with random, unstructured, and unpersonalized newsletters? Nope, you’re not going to build meaningful relationships with them doing that.
On the other hand, manually sending emails takes mucho time.
Now imagine if there was a way to keep in contact with your customers, quickly and easily, so that you keep them aware of your store and they keep coming back to you.
Imagine being able to send the right incentive, at the right time, and to the right customer.
Imagine being able to do all of that in a non-spammy way, so that it builds trust with them and generates more repeat purchases.
That’s what email automation is all about
Email marketing automation takes the stress out of your customer contact and retention.
Rather than annoying your customers with generic emails, it automatically delivers personalized messages at the right times, giving them more opportunities to engage with your brand—and more opportunities to spend with you throughout their lifecycle.
You’re probably already familiar of what you could achieve with email automation:
- Make a killer impression and turn your leads into customers with welcome emails
- Recover any lost revenue using cart abandonment emails
- Increase your lifetime customer value with cross-sell email campaigns
But there’s so much more you could be doing.
In fact, if you’re serious about growing your revenue and if your Shopify store is generating more than $50,000 a month, implementing an email marketing automation system should be your top priority. When done right, it can literally put the growth of your business on autopilot and can net you an extra 10-25% in revenue.
But here’s the cold, hard truth…
Email marketing automation is hard. Like… really freaking hard. It takes work. Keeping your customers engaged with your brand is a long-term commitment, and you want to make sure you get it right.
Coming up with the right strategy and execution for your email channel is tricky; there are so many things to take into consideration. You’ll have to find the right software (hint: it’s not MailChimp), identify the right customers, and segment them. Then you’ll have to create the copy, the design, code the emails, and much more.
And meanwhile, you’ll have to make sure that everything is compliant with the regulations that apply to your business (GDPR, anyone?).
The truth is, it all takes time. Time you don’t want to be spent constantly optimizing your marketing and trying to figuring out things on your own. You’re already crazy busy building your brand, and you’ve been in business long enough to know that doing everything yourself is not only stressful and unsustainable, but it also limits your ability to grow your store.
Yet email remains so valuable that you shouldn’t cut corners
Your customers love what you’re doing, and the last thing you want is to piss them off with crappy emails.
But that’s what you’ll get if you try a quick-fix solution. Whether it’s by cobbling together poorly-designed emails internally, or working with dodgy freelancers who don’t care about your business.
@yourKarma Y'all, you're going from being one of my favorite products, to my least favorite emailers w all caps emails & frequency. Plz stop

Yep, the risk is real. With the wrong strategy and wrong execution, the money-making machine you’re dreaming of will blow up and become a money-eating machine instead.
The whole point of email marketing is to grow your sales by engaging with your customers and building meaningful connections with them. And that’s exactly what you want to achieve with your Shopify store. But you don’t know how to get there or how to do it right.
Well, you don’t have to—because we do.

But who am I, anyway?
I’m Jeremy, and unlike other ecommerce consultants, I know what it’s like as a Shopify merchant.
You see, I used to work for an ecommerce brand where I experienced firsthand the disappointments of poorly-designed email marketing. I used Klaviyo to help them implement a lifecycle email system that became their top converting marketing channel, while increasing their customer lifetime value and significantly reducing their overall cost per acquisition.
I made the move to consulting because I wanted to help merchants like you avoid the frustrations I went through and help make your marketing easier.
Since then, I’ve put dozens of stores on the right track with their email marketing automation strategy.
Fancy some numbers? One of them has added more than $24,000 to its bottom line revenue over 3 months as a result of solely the cart abandonment system.
For every recipient, this Shopify store made $8.43, while collecting valuable feedback from customers to improve the buying process (and if you’re keen to see exactly how, drop me a line and I can send you the case study).

Your questions, answered
Do I need a Klaviyo account?
Yes. You can sign up for a free Klaviyo account here. You’re responsible for paying for it as well as all other necessary third-party tools.
What if I’m using another email marketing platform?
No problem. We’ll help you to migrate your lists safely and seamlessly, so all your data remains intact.
Can we work with another – cheaper – tool like MailChimp?
The email channel is so valuable that you should not be thinking of using cheap tools. Unlike other software, Klaviyo has been built for ecommerce from the ground up, and the functionality, segmentation, and automation features you get access to are much more powerful.
What’s the delivery time?
3 to 5 weeks. Please, keep in mind that this is mainly impacted by your capacity of providing me with the necessary access (Shopify, Klaviyo and Google Analytics) and answering my questions in a timely manner.
How much of a revenue lift can I expect?
I won’t guarantee anything here, like any other respectable consultants or agencies. But if you’re starting from zero, when it’s done right email marketing automation will net you an immediate 10-30% revenue growth.
Do you offer a money back guarantee?
I stand behind my work. In the unlikely event you find evidence that I didn't perform in a professional and ethical manner, I’ll refund your entire fee and you’ll keep the ownership of all the automated campaigns and content that I’ve done.
Can I get a case study?
Sure. Email me at jeremy [at] dealwithgrowth [dot] com and I’ll send you a case study that shows how I helped a Shopify store to recover $24,000 over 3 months. It includes the process, emails that I’ve designed, and proof of results.
But Jeremy, people are not reading emails anymore!
Worried about email marketing going out of fashion? Here are a few things to consider:
- Email has been around for decades, so it’s not going anywhere soon
- With email, you’ve got a tangible, targeted list of customers. It’s a much easier channel to control, with less competition than relying solely on Google rankings
- It’s cheaper. No paying for ad space like on social media, email has been proven to give you a higher return on investment per dollar spent
I still have questions!
And I’m sure I have answers for you. Just drop me an email at jeremy [at] dealwithgrowth [dot] com.
